However, most pavers today are made of colored concrete, which  by its nature a semi-porous material, susceptible to all kinds of staining and marking. This makes oil, grease, and rust very difficult to remove from unsealed pavers because they are so easily absorbed. 

The PaverPro® sealing process prevents the absorption of these stains, while helping to retard the growth of algae, mold and mildew and hardening joint sand. It also helps in preventing weed growth and slows the aging process while making ongoing maintenance of a properly sealed paver surface much easier and far more effective.
